Diana Lowe was born and raised on the North Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Diana Lowe has been involved in church ministry for as long as she can remember. At the tender age of 10, at her home church New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Leroy Walker, Jr, Pastor, Diana was baptized. Not completely understanding what baptism meant, she officially gave her life to Christ a few years later. Diana served faithfully until 2001, when God called her to Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis, Senior Pastor. In 2019, Diana answered the call of God to go deeper in her service in ministry. She began diaconate ministerial training and was ordained as a Deacon by Dr. Curtis on December 7, 2021.
Diana has a unique gift to see God in the details of day-to-day life. She believes this gift has also given her the ability to accept God’s will for her life, even when she doesn’t always agree with it. In 2020, Diana penned her first book, entitled Burning Bushes In Your Backyard: A Meditation Journal, where she challenges readers to examine how they encounter, interact with, and respond to the practicality of God’s providence in their lives.
Diana loves the Lord and strives to example John 13:34-35 every day. She currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is the proud mother of two sons, Lamonte and Isaiah.
